Beyond the Job Fair: RoCK Turns Opportunity into Life-Saving Service

“When Opportunity Meets Service, We Create a Lasting Impact.”

On August 28, 2026, the Rotary Club of Kamuning (RoCK), in partnership with RMN Networks, joined the Local & Overseas Mega Job Fair 2026, bringing together job seekers, employers, government agencies, and community members in pursuit of employment opportunities.

Recognizing the opportunity to reach a diverse segment of the community, the Club spearheaded a bloodletting activity on the same day, extending the spirit of service beyond employment and into a life-saving humanitarian effort.

The activity was made possible through the assistance of the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium Bleeding Team, whose dedication and expertise helped ensure the collection of blood from generous donors.

The event demonstrated the power of partnership among organizations that share a common goal: to serve the community and create opportunities for people. RMN Foundation, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Quezon City Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Councilor Joseph “Joe” Visaya, participating companies, employers, agencies, volunteers, and community partners contributed to making the activity more impactful.

For RoCK, this embodies “Service Above Self.” Together, through partnerships, we can go beyond serving for a day and create lasting impact that continues to touch lives long after the event, and inspire others to continue the spirit of compassion and volunteerism.
